Taylor Dutton
Taylor has been involved with horses for her entire life. Her deep concern for their welfare has resulted in a "whole horse' philosophy that led her to train and work under some of the most knowledgeable and experienced equine professionals in Canada, and fuels her ongoing study of classical riding and training, with its relationship to sound biomechanics and mental well-being.
Beginning as a toddler on her grandparent's horse farm, and continuing into her high school years, she was all about horses. Following her years at the University of Guelph, studying psychology, she apprenticed under former coach and breeder and now internationally-recognized equine behaviorist and horse advocate Tina Barnes on Vancouver Island. Back home in Ontario, she continues to lesson and ride in clinics with a select few trainers, FEI show jumpers and USEF dressage judges... always aiming to improve her own skills and shift perspectives to a "Horse First" approach among her colleagues and clients.
